Grand Cayman

This pirate boat was used in a movie and you could take rides on it.

Our ship, the Conquest

At anchor in the harbor at Grand Cayman's
Where the passengers left the ship to get into the small boats that would take them to the shore.
This is the small boat we rode on to get to shore.

Docking in Jamaica
In the Cayman Islands, the harbor is too shallow for the ships to dock here and they use the small boats called tenders to ferry passengers to the dock.

Chinese Show

This show was great, in this picture it is raining on the stage and you could feel the rain and smell it.
In this scene there is a water fall. I don't know how they do this but it is real water and a lot of it.
Part of the cast of the show.

Chinese toilets

They are being phased out now that Westerners are coming into China in large numbers but this used to be the normal toilet. There are still a lot of these in parks and shopping centers but not in the hotels. They flush and everything, they are just level with the floor. Those ridges on the side are where to put your feet, I saw a few that had the outline of a foot there. Always keep a pack of Kleenex in your purse because most places don't provide paper. This year I saw one place where they had a woman standing in the doorway, handing everyone that came in a very small piece of tissue. They also tend to leave the door to the bathroom open so that the stall is the only privacy you get, I never did figure out the reason for that.
