Most of the transportation of products is done by boat in this part of China. I saw very few large trucks. This is the Yangtze River in Nanjing.
This bridge was built in the 70's, financed in large part by Chinese that had emigrated to the U.S. It is a mile long and was very important in the development of the area. Before that there was no way to get across the river for miles.
There are train tracks on the bottom deck of the bridge.
